There are a number of regulators and stakeholders in Australia whose efforts support the delivery of safe and quality pharmacy services to the public by pharmacists, interns and students in a range of pharmacy practice settings. The diagram below explains the Board’s role in the regulation of pharmacists, interns and students under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme. It also provides an overview of other regulators and stakeholder organisations relevant to pharmacy, and a short summary of their functions and/or responsibilities.
