The Pharmacy Board of Australia (the Board) today published revised documents for pharmacy interns and preceptors.
These documents include:
The revised Intern pharmacist and preceptor guide contains information relating to the internship period, to assist interns, preceptors and other supervising pharmacists in understanding their roles and responsibilities during this period. It is a combined document for interns and preceptors, replacing the Board’s previously published Intern Guide and Preceptor Guide.
Further information on the internship period is included in the revised FAQ, particularly in relation to the required steps for a pharmacy graduate to gain provisional registration and have their supervised practice approved by the Board before the period of supervised practice can commence.
